Where can I buy tickets from?

125x125There are several ways to get tickets: online , from the ferry companies’ website, from Greek travel agencies and directly from the port. Do remember that if you plan to travel during the high season (July & August), you should buy the tickets several weeks in advance.

Does everyone charge the same prices?

Yes, the prices are the same regardless of where you buy the tickets from.

Important note:

Please not that the ferry companies submit their schedules every Friday to the Ministry of Mercantile Marine and in some cases the schedules for July & August become available on online booking sites only several days before the vessels start operating on that route.

Notes:

  • The article was first published in 2010. The latest schedule and price update was made as of March 2013.
  • Although I considered Sept-Oct as “high season”, the schedule is similar to the sailings in Mar-May so when planning your trip in fall make sure to take that into consideration.
