Greece’s party island, Mykonos , is famous for its romantic sunsets, windmills, “Little Venice” and an incredible weather during the tourist season. It’s one of the most sought after Greek island when it comes to choosing the honeymoon destination. There are numerous beautiful hotels where you can indulge in the Greek lifestyle. But all these make Mykonos a bit expensive.

Hotel Tagoo, Mykonos

Right in the center of the Town of Mykonos, you’ll find Tagoo. Built in a traditional architecture and overlooking the Aegean Sea, the hotel is a small family owned place, just perfect for your romantic getaway. This small luxury hotel comprises a spa, a pool bar as well as beautiful restaurants. All rooms have AC, TV, bathroom, wi-fi (fee required), minibar, phone and queen or king size beds.

The hotel is opened the entire year. July and August are the most expensive months, when you can expect to pay between €400 per night for a double superior room and €1850 per night for an executive two bedroom suite with private pool. All rates include breakfast and taxes. If you want to spend your vacation here in September prices are lower, averaging between €320 per night for a double superior room and €1350 per night for an executive two bedroom suite with private pool.

Omiros Hotel, Mykonos

Omiros Hotel is located in one of the oldest hotel buildings in Mykonos. It overlooks the port and is family owned. There is free Internet at the reception area, as well as a terrace where guests can relax until late at night. The hotel provides free transfer to and from the airport or port. The terrace is famous for the beautiful sunsets you can experience here. The hotel only has 10 rooms all equipped with AC, TV, bathroom, free wi-fi and fridge.

The rooms are most expensive between July 25 and August 31 when you should expect to pay €140 per night for a double room and €200 per night for a quadruple room. If you want to spend your vacation here in September the rates are bit lower: €100 per night for a double room and €140 per night for a quadruple room. The lowest rates are in October: €70 per night for a double room and €110 per night for a quadruple room.


Argo Hotel Mykonos, Plati Gialos

Renovated in 2002 the hotel has a true Cyclades architecture: white washed with blue windows. The hotel is located right near Plati Gialos beach, on the south side of the island. There are 18 rooms all equipped with AC, TV, fridge, bathroom and balcony. The area where the hotel is located, Plati Gialos, offers some of the most beautiful sights in Mykonos.

The prices are at their highest between July 25 and August 25 when you should expect to pay €160 per night for a single room, €180 per night for a double room, €216 per night for a triple room and €252 per night for a family room (accommodates 4 persons). The lowest prices are between mid-September and end of October when you should expect to pay: €70 per night for a single room, €80 per night for a double room, €96 per night for a triple room and €112 per night for a family room.
