All transportation workers in Greece started a 14 hours strike today (Oct 8, 2008) at 8 a.m. to protest against the government privatization plans. The strike stopped ferries, bus, trams, trolleys, rail service and flights, as Olympic Airlines crew joined the protests. Pretty much, the entire country is paralyzed until 10 p.m.
