The Greek carrier, Olympic announced that it cancels 40 flights on Wednesday, November 26. This is due to a 3-hours strike of the flight controllers. Most of the flights canceled - 22 - are domestic ones. The strike starts at noon (9 a.m. GMT). Some of the flights - 18, including the ones to Paris and London- will be rescheduled.
In September, the European Union approved Greece’s plan to fully privatize the company by the end of 2009.
