It has been a while since I’ve taken the time to publish the weekly news. But the start of July was quite interesting, so here are some news for your reading pleasure:
- A powerful earthquake struck near Crete on July 1 . Thankfully no damage or casualties reported.
- As of July 1, smoking is banned in all public places in Greece . Excellent decision considering the high rate of smokers in Greece.
- The roaming costs within the EU drop by up to 60% starting on July 1 . For the EU citizens traveling with the Union this is one of the best news possible: the maximum cost of making roaming calls is now €0.43 /min, while sending a text message now costs only €0.11
