It’s every traveler’s dream to visit the islands of Santorini and Mykonos . A ferry ride makes it possible to joggle a low budget and meet fellow travelers along the way.
Santorini or Thira?
When traveling by ferry in Greece we should remember that we are looking for connections between two ports and in many cases the name of the port doesn’t match the name of the island (as we know it in English). @Nick: Mykonos to Santorini, there’s one ferry on Sept 8 at 8:45 a.m.
Thanks for the info cristine, it’s weird that hue sites only say the 7th to santorini, why is this? You must be in the know
Regards
Nick
@Nick: I get all info from a ferry booking site (which is linked at the top of the article, so you can check yourself)
the price it’s for one way only?
@Kira: yes, just double the price for a return trip
Thanks for all your help Cristina! One last question all the site say that the ferry from Mykonos to santorini is “not available” for the 08 of sep, does that mean it’s booked out already or would we still be sweet to get tickets when we get there.
Thanks heaps!!
Nick
@Nick: I did the same search and it shows as fully booked already. So you cannot get tickets for that ferry online (might try your luck in the port). You can book tickets on any of the ferries departing on Sept 9 though.
