  1. We are travelling from Gatwick on Wed 1st June to Naxos via Mykonos as we land at Mykonos at 12.00 noon approx do you know if any ferries are available to take us to Naxos via Paros on that day

  2. Hello Christina, there appears to be no ferries from Mykonos to Naxos between April 29th and 9th May 2013 on the timetable above and none until the 4th May from Mykonos to Paros.. We are are flying in from Manchester on the 1st May and have booked accomodation from the 2nd in Naxos! Is there likely to be ferries added between these dates later or will the first ferry available be on the 4th May? Look forward to hearing from you Liz

    • Hi Liz,

the schedule I’ve got says there is a ferry which runs Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sun at 2:10 p.m. from Apr 24 to Apr 29. After that, you are right, the next one is on May 9th.

April and May are low-season although the weather won’t exactly feel like low-season. However, during this time the number of ferries is limited compared to July and August. I doubt they’d add anything but 1st of May is a government holiday and a very busy day so you might get lucky. Further-more , booking sites DO NOT allow bookings for May1st because “every year there is a General strike and most possibly the ferries won’t depart”.

Sea Jets run the ferries between Mykonos and Naxos and you can find them here http://www.seajets.gr/ . I ran a search and there’s nothing departing on May 1st. First ferry, according to their site, departs on May 6th at 2:45 p.m.

      Makes any sense?

  3. Hi
Any idea why the seajet service 11 June naxos – mykonos will not let me book online. It shows as available but on the next step says ‘no availability’. Can’t believe this is full! Do you think it’s because the schedule is not yet confirmed>
    many thanks for any help!

    • Hi Karen,

I just looked at the booking site (clicking the banner at the top of the article) and for me it says Available for 11 Jun and at step 2 it allows me to add passenger details. I’ll email you a print screen in a bit.
