Travel Agency If you are one of those travelers who prefer to use a tour operator to book your vacation (or a cruise) and don’t look for a hotel to stay in, now it’s time to start searching for the early book discounts.

While the sales and discounts are in full swings in all stores, travel agents all over the world start to offer the early book discounts for this summer in Greece. Most of the offers are good either 4 months or 6 months in advance of your travel date so make sure to start planning. Savings can be substantial sometimes so why not spend a day in town and ask around at the travel agencies.

As a rule, if you want to travel to Greece in July, you should book until end of February, while if you plan to travel in August, you still have time to book until end of April.

If you are an independent traveler or if you want to stay at a hotel, things don’t work like this. Generally, the hotels wait for the government to set the official prices for the summer and that happens in March (usually).

However, if you want to spend Easter in Greece, it’s the perfect time to plan it and book your vacation.
