The largest of the Greek islands is a very popular tourist destination. Thankfully, there are accommodations for every budget and with careful planning you can find some beautiful hotels for your vacation in Crete.
On the eastern side of Crete, quite far from the airport, you’ll find a beautiful budget hotel: Hotel Victoria. The hotel stands right by the sea and benefits from an incredible mild weather. The center of Agios Nikolaos is located at only 7 minutes walk from the hotel.

A category C hotel, Niriis was built in 1996 and renovated in 2002. There are 25 rooms within the hotel but the hotel doesn’t offer a bar/restaurant. However, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, all located near by. There are three beaches within walking distance of the hotel.
Each room (apartment) is equipped with fridge, kitchenette (fully equipped), AC (€10 per day), shower, toilet, TV, two beds, phone (extra charge).
The hotel opens at the end of May and closes in October. The price for a double room ranges between €27 and €40, depending on the season.

In the village of Ano Asites you’ll find Prinos, which comprises six traditional guesthouses capable of housing 2 to 6 persons. All guesthouses offer: AC, fireplace, TV, central heating, phone, internet, kitchen, bathroom and safe box.
The price for a studio (2-3 persons) varies between €70 and €80 per night, depending on the season.

Right in the Old Town of Chania you’ll find this lovely restored Venetian building which houses Porto del Colombo Traditional Hotel. The hotel has a long history, just as the neighboring streets and harbor. There are only 10 rooms in the hotel, all offering phone, TV, AC, bathroom, mini-bar and heating.
The hotel is open year round. The price for a double room ranges between €52.00 and €84.00 per night. Rates include breakfast, AC/heating and all taxes.

This is a new hotel, locate in the fishing village of Bali, at about 45 km from Heraklion. The hotel offers 120 rooms, all with stunning views of the bay. The guests can also use the swimming pool, bar and restaurant.
All rooms offer sea view and are equipped with TV, balcony, fridge, bathroom and AC. The prices are only available upon request.
